Throughout her 900-year history, Leeds Castle has been a glamorous retreat, a place where guests rested, feasted and enjoyed great entertainment.

Owned by six medieval Queens, then King Henry VIII and his first wife, Katherine of Aragon, then passed into private families, before her final owner, Anglo-American heiress, Lady Baillie, who rescued and transformed the Castle into a 1930s country house retreat.

Leeds Castle has a long history of entertaining royalty, leading politicians, star of the silver screen and societies finest. This timeless tradition of serving the best hospitality offers has continued to this day.

In addition to excellent meetings and events facilities, Leeds Castle offers a fascinating history displayed in the Castle and Gate Tower, impressive over 500 acres of seasonal parkland, marvellous Bird of Prey Centre, a 9-hole golf course, and charming on-site accommodations perfect for corporate retreats. There’s also modern activities, such as Tree-Top 'Go Ape' trails, Segway and zip wires for those a looking for team building experiences.

  • The Castle

    Leeds Castle’s glamorous Castle has been host to centuries of meetings, celebrations and parties. With its historic surroundings and tranquil atmosphere, the Castle is ideal for:

    Guests can be treated like royalty, enjoying pre-dinner drinks in the castle library, a game of croquet on the law, or enjoy relaxing on the sofa by the piano and open log fires. The castle is happy to provide musical entertainment and stunning floral arrangements by the Castle's own florist. 


    Smaller parties can enjoy fine dining in the stunning Castle Dining Room or The Salon with magnificent fireplaces and sweeping views across the moat.

  • Maiden's Tower

    This separate wonderful venue on the Castle Island is ideal for events and celebrations. The Maiden’s Tower is perfect for:

  • Fairfax Hall

    The Fairfax Hall is an immaculately restored Kentish timer-framed barn that dates from 1680, and boasts stunning views across to the moat and castle. Ideal for:

    Includes an ajoning Terrace Room can be used for dancing and doors opening on the outside Terrace

  • Battel Hall

    Battel Hall is a charming country manor house, located in a quiet location just outside of the Castle’s grounds. It boasts stunning drawing rooms, dining room, kitchen, private garden, bedrooms and the adjacent The Oast providing additional bedrooms.

    The house is secluded and quiet, making it a perfect place to discuss business strategy or a perfect opportunity for team bonding.


    Battel Hall is a self-catering venues that offers a selection of caterers to choose from at additional charge.


    Battel Hall has five luxury double en-suite bedrooms. The Oast features two bedrooms

  • Garden House

    Situated in the estates Culpeper Garden, this house is ideal for a day-time private function such as:

    • Meetings
    • Seminars
    • Conferences

    Small breakout or interview room next door, wifi and visual equipment


    4 luxury en-suite double rooms are located in Garden House, and there is extra accommodation in the new Stable Bed and Breakfast, which has 17 rooms.

Incentive Activities

The flourishing greenery of Leeds Castle provides the idea space for many incentive activities for your delegates.

Choose from a 9-hole, par 33 golf course, ideal for professionals or beginners, take part in a fun and instructive archery event tournament, or marvel at birds of prey swooping overhead as you learn about the art of Falconry with their specialist team.

For even more daring opportunities, let your team go in the forest to climb trees, cross rope bridges and zip wire to the ground in the Go Ape activities. The nerve-racking experience allows delegates to get to know each other better, promote inter-dependency and gain a real sense of achievement, in a fun and memorable experience.

At the end of a productive day, there is the opportunity to take over the on-site Knight’s Glamping site for a retreat-like atmosphere, as eight luxury pavilions with four poster beds are centred around wood burning stoves, ideal for outdoor BBQ’s in the warmer months.

Team building activities can take place in the parklands, through an external team building company.
